Translations into other languages are always welcome. The main branch of tarlimit is developed and documented in English. At present, the only secondary language being worked on is Spanish.
Packagers / Maintainers
Linux Packagers
tarlimit is presently released as source code and as a Debian package. We would welcome anyone willing to make rpm packages or packages used by other distributions (such as a package for Arch Linux).
In fact, if someone with more experience wants to take over the responsibility of creating the Debian package, that would be great as well.
Also, we need people willing to maintain tarlimit in repositories of various distributions. It would be great if tarlimit were included in the repo's of the larger distributions such as Debian and Ubuntu or in things like Arch's AUR.
Porters
Window/Mac Porters
If someone would like to provide feedback on how well tarlimit works on other platforms, we would be willing to make tarlimit more portable. This includes reporting errors as well as describing the best install/use method. The development of talimit has ignored these operating systems merely because tarlimit is a command line utility and it is assumed that Windows/Mac users largely work with gui utilities.
